Call for Project Proposals
The
Nigerians in Diaspora Organization (NIDO)
Germany has
rolled out projects for execution in the next couple
of Months. The projects include:
Agriculture
Transportation
Security
Energy
Vocational, career and human
development
Education
We call on all members of NIDO
Germany, NIDO Europe and all friends and well
wishers of
Nigeria to
forward proposals and suggestions on what you think
can be done and what you can do in these areas.

Agriculture
The old traditional way of farming
has given way to new mechanized system of farming.
This includes food crops, export crops, animal
husbandry, fish farming, food processing, storage
and packaging. These branches of agricultural
activities are demanding for new innovative and even
technological attention in Nigeria just
like every other place in the world. Lend your wait
to our agricultural needs. You may be the solution
we need.

Transportation
We live in an environment where
owning a private car is not a necessity but a
luxury. The question to which we need an answer here
is-how do we make the situation the same in
Nigeria? We want to make private cars
luxuries and no longer necessities. You may be the
one to achieve this.

becoming a matter for bi-metrics and intelligence.

These
days, energy is becoming a household matter. We know
that energy is no longer as bogus and complicated as
it used to be in the last decades. We hear of
onshore and offshore wind farms development,
hydrogen and fuel cell technology, waste to energy,
solar power, small hydroelectric power plants, wind
parks going on stream, combined waste water
treatment systems and geothermal power plants. Which
of them can be developed in Nigeria and how?

and
human
development
Unemployment and poverty in Nigeria are no longer news to us. The
news now is that they must be eradicated. How? Our
graduates and school leavers pass out from schools
without the necessary skills they need to work.
People settle for poverty just because they can not
or did not go to school. Even some adults do not
know what career development is. What do we do?
